Haircut!

Now that ballet has ended for the year Jocelyn wanted to get a haircut. Well she sure got one. We went to Beaners and she told the hairdresser exactly what she wanted. It looks so cute, and she absolutely loves it!

Soccer Finale

Well, soccer has come to an end for this year. Jocelyn was like a different person this year. Every game she seemed to get better and better. She scored at least one goal every time she played! It could have something to do with the fantastic coach that the girls had.
"Popcorn" was one of the favourite things to do. All the girls got in a circle and kicked all the balls so they looked like popcorn popping. After her second to last game, the coach and his wife invited all of the girls to their house to play and make sundaes! What a lot of fun they had. They also all got metals for a great season.

Year End Kindergarten BBQ

I can't believe that a year has already gone by. Jocelyn had a year end BBQ with all of the French Immersion kindergarten kids. They had a blast!! Everyone brought their own dinner to eat and we had a "treat" table for all to enjoy. All the kids got to throw water balloons, and that was so much fun. Jocelyn picked a balloon that was almost un-breakable. She had to stomp on it to make it break. They had a tug-o-war and won twice! And of coarse their was the craft table. It was licorice string with fruit loops to make necklaces or bracelets. Then the eating began. The woman in this picture is Jocelyn's teacher. She has done a great job teaching all of the kids. Jocelyn knows way more French than I do and Sean really needs to sharpen his speaking. She's starting to know more than him!

Mmmmm

Spencer got his hands on a mandarin orange the other night. He peeled some of it with his two little teeth and then could not suck the juice out fast enough!! When I had to take it away he was none too happy about it.

BirthPlace Forest

Today we went to the BirthPlace Forest, in Fish Creek Park, to pick out a tree for Spencer. The City of Calgary plants trees every year for all of the babies born in Calgary. The celebration is once a year where you go and pick out your tree. Our neighbours and Tim and Terri came with us. We went for a little walk in the park and had cookies and lemon pound cake at Grandma and Grandpa's after.
